Our Values

Small Business
Today, small businesses are critical to solving complex social and economic issues, as well as developing the Canadian economy. YEDI believes in the importance of accelerating new, forward-thinking, and relevant small businesses and not-for-profit organizations to help them become productive pillars in Canadian society.
Resilient Entrepreneurship
To be inventive is not enough; addressing the local and global environment today requires innovative ideas to be versed in the right tools, training, and networks to become real solutions. YEDI’s vision is to equip both for-profit and not-for-profit ventures with the entrepreneurial know-how necessary for project implementation and success. A solid foundation in Economics and Business Communications will give YEDI entrepreneurs a competitive edge.
Social Responsibility
At YEDI, we believe that all business should be held accountable to create positive social impact. In this sense, we feel that for-profit companies have much to learn from not-for-profit organizations. In turn, not-for-profits must become more efficient in their practices by acquiring an entrepreneurial approach from for-profit business models. YEDI creates this important exchange, as entrepreneurs from for-profit and not-for-profit tracks learn and develop their ideas in a shared space.
